D Family {Logan Utah Family Photographer}

I was excited to photograph this family. It was a great start to the family portrait season. They are always dressed so cute when I see them. Two cute parents make for three adorable children. If you are thinking of getting family pictures this fall season, now is the time to schedule.

This session started out with some excitement. What session isn't with a two year old?! (They are the most fun and impatient age to photograph.) Cute little Jackson, who's been potty trained for months . . . yes, you guessed it; had an accident before I even took my first shot. Poor Mom was clueless on what to do but we managed to work around it. Oh, the joys of family pictures, but it's all worth it in the end when you see the images!

 

C Family {Logan Utah Family Photographer}

This was my last outdoor photo session for the year. It's bitter sweet I'm not photographing anymore families this fall, next year I hope to make up for my maternity leave. My what a difference it is to photograph families with older kids compared to those with younger ones. These teens were very cooperative and even had fun ideas for different poses they wanted to do. With such easy models, I took a lot of pictures. Here's a few from their session.

This family returned for their annual photos. They sported their Utah State Aggie pride this year! These kids know how to keep me on my toes and are very entertaining. The two oldest had a great time posing in front of the camera, while the youngest tried his best to run away from it. It was fun to photograph them and see the changes they've made since last year.

This time of year can become busy with family photo sessions. With expecting baby #2 in just over a month, I decided to take it easy this year and only offered a couple of family sessions (I have one session left for October if someone is interested). I was excited to take the S Family's pictures and loved their color combination. I also have become a big fan of this location (Logan River Trail). It has so many options and is easily accessible, making it ideal for family pictures.

Corbin {Logan Utah Newborn Photographer}

Meet my newest nephew. He was born the exact day my sister predicted he would come. I took his pictures when he was six days old. What a fight he put up to let me capture him. He didn't want to miss anything that was going on. This kid is going to be one observant, smart boy!

W Family {Logan Utah Family Photographer}

An outdoor winter session is unpredictable. The week before this session there was beautiful warm temperatures and then the day of the session it snows. With the uncooperative weather but a very understanding family, we moved the session indoors. What a joy to have such an easy going family to photograph. There little boy is a great mix of the two of them.

H Family {Logan Utah Child & Family Photographer}

The H family could easily have their last name be hilarious! They are my neighbors and I am always laughing when I am with them; which made for a very fun shoot. I was really excited with the location they chose. I have been wanting to take pictures there and I'm sure I'll be going there again. Hopefully next time won't be so cold!
